The menu rollup allows you to insert data into the menu form as well as create new items "on the fly".  For example, when creating a new menu, you can use the menu rollup to insert the component ingredients required to produce the menu all at once.  If an ingredient or recipe that you require does not exist, you can create it quickly using the menu rollup and insert it straight into the menu at the same time.  For help on how to use rollups see the topic Rollups.
