Starting Resort Restaurant

During installation Resort Restaurant Setup program adds a Resort Restaurant folder to your Windows Programs menu and a desktop shortcut to the main program.  To start Resort Restaurant, either:-

 

Click the Resort Restaurant desktop shortcut, or

 

Click on the button_start button (in the bottom left corner of your screen).

 

Select 'Programs' from the Start Menu. This will display the Programs Menu.

 

Select the 'Resort Restaurant' option from the Programs menu.

 

Select the 'Resort Restaurant' entry in the Resort Restaurant menu. This option will have an restauranticon icon. Click this icon to open the program.

 

Resort Restaurant will then start.

 

NOTE: You can create a desktop shortcut to Resort Restaurant with the following procedure.

 

Creating a Desktop Shortcut to Resort Restaurant

 

Close all running programs.

 

With your mouse right-click somewhere in the middle of you screen, away from any existing desktop icons.  Windows will display the Short Cut menu.

 

Select the 'New' option from the Short Cut menu.  This will display another menu.

 

Select 'Shortcut' from this menu.  This will launch the Windows Create Shortcut Wizard.

 

Click the Browse button in the Shortcut Wizard.  This will display the Browse Dialog.  This dialog shows the folders (directories) in your C: drive.

 

Double click on the 'Program Files' folder.  This will display the folders in the  'Program Files'.

 

Double click the 'Resort' folder.

 

Double click the 'Restaurant' folder and then double click the 'Restaurant' entry in the Browse Dialog.  This entry will have a small restauranticon icon.  This will select the Resort Restaurant program file and close the Browse box taking you back to the Create Shortcut Wizard.

 

Click the 'Next' button, to take you to the next page of the Create Shortcut Wizard.

 

In the 'Select a Title for the Program' page type in the name of the program; 'Resort Restaurant' and click the 'Finish' button.

 

Windows will create a desktop icon for Resort Restaurant.  You can then start Resort Restaurant by double-clicking this icon restauranticon.

 

NOTE: If you run the Microsoft Office short-cut bar, you can drag the Resort Restaurant icon from the desktop and drop it over the Office shortcut bar.  This will add the Resort Restaurant icon to the Microsoft Office shortcut bar.
