The ingredient rollup allows you to insert data into the supplier form as well as create new items "on the fly".  For example, when creating a new supplier, you can use the ingredient rollup to assign any ingredients available from the new supplier all at once.  If an ingredient that you require does not exist, you can create it quickly using the ingredient rollup and assign it to the supplier at the same time.  For help on how to use rollups see the topic Rollups.
