To delete an existing recipe:-

 

First you will need to open the Recipe form.

 

This can be done by choosing one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the  toolbar button        or

 

•Select Forms->Recipes from the menu bar        or

 

•Click on the icon on the left-hand browser pane of your database form.

 

Using the recipe browser, select the recipe you wish to delete.

 

Use one of the following methods to delete the selected recipe:

 

•Click on the  toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Delete from the menu bar        or

 

•Select the recipe within the recipe browser and hit the "Delete" key on your keyboard        or

 

•Hit the F4 shortcut key.

 

Resort Restaurant will ask you if you wish to delete the recipe.  Choose the appropriate response.

 

The recipe which you have deleted will now be removed from the list.

 

NOTE 1: If you delete a recipe it will be lost permanently.  

 

NOTE 2: If the recipe you are trying to delete is used in association with another recipe, menu or function, Resort Restaurant will not allow you to delete the selected recipe and an error message will be displayed.
