To create a new store copying the details from another store:-

 

First you will need to open the Store form.

 

This can be done by choosing one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the  toolbar button        or

 

•Select Forms->Stores from the drop-down menus        or

 

•Click on the icon on the left-hand browser pane of your database form.

 

 

Select the store that you wish to copy from.

 

Use one of the following methods to copy the selected store:

 

•Click on the toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Copy from the drop-down menus        or

 

•Hit the F3 shortcut key.

 

 

Fill in the details of the new store, remembering to change the name from that of the existing store.  More help on this can be found in the Store form topic.

 

Save any changes you have made by using one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Save from the drop-down menus        or

 

•Hit the F9 shortcut key.

 

 

NOTE: No two stores are permitted the same name in a Resort Restaurant database.  If you try to create a store with the name of a store that already exists, Resort Restaurant will display an error message.
