View Menu

The View Menu gives you access to all of the program's view-related functions. Each of these functions is listed below.

 

NOTE: Many of the Resort Recipe menu options have corresponding buttons on the program's toolbars. If a menu option below, has an associated toolbar button, that button is shown beside the option's description.

 

View menu options

 

view_previous Previous Page

 

Displays the previously shown page in the main work area window.

 

view_next Next Page

 

Moves to the next page in the main work area window.

 

view_start Start Page

 

Displays the Start Page in the main work window. This menu option has the same effect as clicking the Start Here button in the Shortcut Bar.        

 

view_category Categories..

 

Displays the Category Dialog box for category editing.        

 

view_unit Units...

 

Displays the Unit Dialog box for unit editing.

 

view_ingredient Ingredients

 

Displays the Ingredient Page for the current database. This menu option has the same effect as clicking the Ingredients button in the Shortcut Bar.

 

view_recipe Recipes

 

Displays the Recipe Page for the current database. This menu option has the same effect as clicking the Recipes button in the Shortcut Bar.

 

view_reports Reports

 

Displays the Reports Page for the current database. This menu option has the same effect as clicking the Reports button in the Shortcut Bar.

 

Report Colours

 

Opens the Report Colours dialog which allows you to choose the colour settings for all reports.

 

Shortcut Bar

 

Enables or disables the shortcut bar on screen.

 

Show Tool Tips in Dialogs

 

Toggles the display of tool tip windows in dialog boxes. Tool tips are small windows that pop up over a dialog control (edit boxes, list boxes, etc.) that offer you guidance on how to use those individual controls.

 

Show Banners

 

Toggles the display of banners at the top of various forms. These banners normally show the name of the item currently displayed in the open form.

 

Default Bar

 

Enables or disables the default toolbar.

 

Status Bar

 

Toggles the Status Bar on and off.
